Post Ride Recovery For Your Feet
#riderecoverrepeat
Every useful watt of power you generate while cycling is transferred to your bike through the bottom of your feet. Foot pain, in particular arch pain, is common, and heel soreness can be caused by ill-fitting footwear or incorrect cleat position; equally, it may be the result of an underlying foot condition such as plantar fasciitis or a biomechanical issue

While we recommend a good bike-fit to overcome the above issues, post-ride recovery is essential. One of the most likely causes of pain in the arch of your foot is inflammation, strain or repetitive micro-tears of the plantar fascia. This condition is called plantar fasciitis and is very common among cyclists and others whose activities place large amounts of stress on the palmar (underside) aspect of the foot.

OOFOS customers have reported relief from the pain associated with Plantar Fasciitis and the bone spurs that can accompany this condition. This is due to the increased impact absorption our shoes provide and the patented biomechanically engineered footbed that helps increase circulation and provides superior arch support. OOFOS shoes allow your foot to move on all planes and articulate the way nature intended. The material flexes with your foot and the surface you are walking on simultaneously, relieving pressure and cushioning your feet.

OOFOS recovery footwear is available for men and women. Browse our latest styles to find the ideal pair for you.

Customer Reviews
"Having suffered numerous bouts of plantar fasciitis in the past, due to rather a lot of high impact running, I now view my feet wearily and partly with suspicion. Although I do rotate my trainers and mix up my runs with lower impact alternatives in the gym, there's always that niggle in the back of my mind that I could be doing more to support my feet. Then, I discovered OOFOS. I instantly noticed the difference as soon as I slipped them on. Surprisingly comfortable, my feet instantly felt supported, the bed of the shoe rising up to meet my foot arches and almost snuggling against them. Literally I put them on and have now had trouble finding the willpower to take them off again. Popping on my usual slippers afterwards, the difference is astounding – it's amazing how flat other shoes feel once you have enjoyed the support of OOFOS. I am very much looking forward to wearing my pair more (especially in the run up to my next half marathon) to give my tootsies some very well deserved ‘me time'. Squidgy and comfortable, these are a winner for me!"

"My first pair arrived last week. Currently suffering from plantar fasciitis and I can honestly say this is the most comfortable footwear I have worn! Better than fit flops. Will be buying another colour to have an indoor and outdoor pair!"

"I work in a running shop and suffer from Plantar fasciitis. I'm on my feet all day and am constantly in pain. I was given a pair of Oofos from my Oofos rep when I received my first order. I must say they looked comfortable and was keen to try them on. They are very spongy, comfortable and OMG...oodness they felt amazing! I find they comfort and support my feet in all of the right places. I take them with me everywhere and they are there by my bed to step into first thing. Something else I really like is that I can quickly wash them when I get home from work so I can wear them around the house. They certainly do what they say! Thank you Oofos!"

"My OOFOS flip flops have just arrived. I don't know how I have lived without them!!! The most comfortable footwear ever, I may never take them off. Great service too, ordered Tuesday, arrived Thursday."

"Feedback from the players on the footwear so far has been unreal, we can't get them out of them!"
